Grace
My name is Grace, and I am a freshman here at CU. I have lived my whole life in Tacoma, Washington where it rains all the time -- imagine my surprise at coming to a place where it is almost always sunny! As soon as I arrived on campus for my visit while in high school, I knew I had to come to CU. My favorite activities include skiing, hiking, playing tennis, rock climbing (a brand new hobby), and playing just about any other sport.
Another one of my passions is food, and Boulder is the perfect place for that. There are tons of restaurants with creative, delicious, and healthy dishes. I can't wait to keep trying all the restaurants. I have always been a huge sports fan and have grown up on the Pac-10, which makes CU sports now being a part of the Pac-12 even more fun for me! Learning and service are two of my other passions, which is why I have chosen to study Spanish and Elementary Education.
